We welcome you to browse photos of our Engish as a Second Language (ESL) class graduates as well as some photos of our weekly evening Spanish class. The ESL class was brought to The SOURCE by Catholic Human Development Outreach under a Michigan Works funded grant for Intense Vocational English as a Second Language and our Spanish for Neighbors course is brought in partnership with Calvin College.
Governor Jennifer M. Granholm visited The SOURCE once again to visit an English as a Second Language class and our Hidden Rules Orientation based on A Framework for Understanding Poverty. The Governor also took to the opportunity to update the media on The SOURCE's workforce development activity since her last visit in March. This included details about our training, referral, and retention services, as well as our continued participation in the Michigan Regional Skills Alliance (MiRSA) initiative.
On March 9, 2005, Governor Jennifer Granholm visited The SOURCE to highlight our services in employer collaboration, employee supportive practices, and comprehensive career laddering.
